It was me, in the 70s. There have been 55 episodes of The Stratemaker at Sea Show. That was 1972-1974. Did you see that too?

It was a very cheeky children's series for kids aged 8 and up. The kids were in charge of the show. Sometimes parents were called to the mat by the children. That's why we loved watching it.! You were encouraged to whimsy.

Remember them, the 3 protagonists? Natural with Aart Tail s who was the Stratemaker. He sinked a brick to make a street at sea. Nonsense, of course, you immediately understood that as a child. Then you had Erik Engerd ( Joost Prinsen ) and the Posh Lady ( Wieteke by Dort ) who laughed at her winds. She wasn't so posh at all. Taboos were broken a bit, but not too heavy, I found. In addition to those 3 types, the three also played other great types!

It was about all kinds of subjects that were interesting to children. The themes were fantastic. Think poop and pies, shyness, lies, sad ness, jealousy, spending money, the last day of school, dad beats, secret language, etc! There were interviews with children, on difficult topics such as separation from their parents.
