Summer collage
In the nursing home where I work is a long bald corridor for which I had 9 swap lists filled with spring themes. For the summer, of course, new collages had to be created. So I went back to Pinterest and printed out pictures I made in the area.

In summer there is of course a lot to harvest in the vegetable garden. On Pinterest I found beautiful pictures of all kinds of vegetables. And because most residents love children, I have also incorporated several cute pictures of small garden females and males into them. Success assures. And while pasting, I talked to several ladies about the old days. They were very enthusiastic and they kept looking at the beautiful pictures. Marga said that her vegetables from her own vegetable garden were highly appreciated by her colleagues at the office in the big city. Since this frame is not glass anymore, I have to give some accents some straw with the glue gun glued to some pictures.

Of course, flowers can not be missing as a summer theme. I made all the pictures myself in the gardens where we often walk along with the hiking club and in the woods behind the residential center and in several other places in the polder. A lady did not agree with the sunflower. She didn't think it was possible that he wasn't yellow. I thought it was nice to put the names in there. And to make them stand out a little more, I pasted them on different colors of paper and then on a piece of newspaper, because you can also wrap flowers with that.

In the summer, of course, you can also see most insects. Beautiful butterflies, but also some less cute creatures. All the pictures I made myself, last year but also in recent weeks, The alpaca with young I have specially attached to it, because the young is born around the longest day after a gestation period of one year. This is what the volunteer always tells in the animal park, as soon as the young is born, the mother is mated again. We're glad we're only 9 months pregnant, ladies! This picture is from the young of last year, but in the meantime we have already been on maternity visit for the young of this year.
Because I wanted to do something special with these pictures, I dug deep into my memory and remembered that in the course of the card-making workshops I learned a technique where you put paper over your picture and then torn away so much paper that the picture comes out again. - Yes. It was a lot of trouble, but I managed to make holes in a large sheet so you can see the pictures again. Then I crumpled the paper, because I found it a bit boring. To the great horror of one of the residents. She didn't think it would be beautiful. To add a little more depth, I pasted suitable photos on thin cardboard, cut out very precisely and pasted them back onto the sheet of paper.
