Summer in France - day 10: Eygalières
After a first night in our new residence, it's time for new groceries. Fortunately we do not have to drive very far and the supermarket is open on Sunday morning.
After lunch we go for a ride in the neighborhood. First stop: the mysterious Romanesque chapel Saint Sixte. It dates back to the 12th century and stands alone on a rocky hill.
We're there all alone. The heat seems to be coming out of the bottom. The view from the entrance arch is great.
From there we explore the village where we are actually staying, although our spot is a few kilometers from there: Eygalières. Je ziet het bij het naderen al liggen op de heuveltop.
