Summer in France - day 23: our last day...
It's, unfortunately, our last day in this beautiful country.
We logeerden deze week in Aurel, een klein dorpje in de Drôme Provençale. Het dorpje ligt op een helling langs een vallei waar vooral mousserende bio-wijnen geproduceerd worden, beter gekend als Clairette de Die en Crément de Die. The crément is made in the same way as champagne, but may not take this name because it is not produced in the champagne region.
We spend our last day in our own surroundings, take a walk through the vineyards in the valley and walk up through the village. It is not a cozy, typical French village, as we already did many.
We also drive to a large 'cave' where we can taste and buy the Crément. Very tasty. And we still have some space left in the trunk of the car...
