Every Sunday we always have a Sunday brunch, a tradition that doesn't go away at my home anymore. It is not only tasty, it is also taking time for each other and with an additional advantage is that it is also fun to do. How our Sunday brunch arose, I'll tell you in this article.

At my dad's, I got breakfast every morning that was prepared for me. Freshly squeezed orange juice, with a rusk and a sandwich. Only on Wednesday and Sunday morning we always had 2 soft-boiled eggs at breakfast, which I always liked very much.

Even when I stayed with my aunt and uncle or was with my grandmother, they had a delicious brunch every Sunday with the best sandwiches, cold meats and it was always a party to eat. I was always allowed to help with this, set the table as it was supposed to and other little things that were part of preparing the brunch. That's how they taught me, if you eat off a nicely set table, it's always a party to eat.

Actually, it was always a party to eat with them, because my aunt and grandmother got along well. Also, they lived against each other, many they were together and also almost always ate together. For my feeling it was always one big family, except my parents weren't there.

Since living on my own and being remembered by another aunt and uncle what it was like to have breakfast every Sunday, Sunday brunch has become a standard thing for me. At first I really had various kinds of spreads, scrambled eggs, bacon and then there are 2 soft-boiled eggs. This was really too much, which allowed me to eat the remaining bread toppings all week. What I could not be saved was given to the dog who had a Sunday brunch in that way.

Nowadays we only make what we want, this because Marcel only put confectionery on bread at work and I don't eat very much myself. What is left of Sunday brunch, I usually eat that Monday and sometimes a Tuesday on my bread. The advantage of this is that we don't eat the same every Sunday. Only the 2 soft-boiled eggs have remained in it by default and will not change so quickly.
