Because we are now in the middle of a renovation, you will pay attention to all the 'small' things.
Just like the awning that hangs in front of the living room window on the first floor.
We are almost the only ones in the street (except for one house) who still have a screen in front of the window. See picture. The rest all have screens. Except for that one house. They have an orange color.
John would also prefer to have a screen. I, frankly, not at all. I think it has something to do. Just call me old-fashioned. But it really gives me a summer feeling when I see our blinds hanging. A screen looks like a roller shutter. You feel trapped right away. Nothing for me.
