Supermoon and Snow Moon March 9, 2020
A supermoon or supermoon is a full moon that looks larger and gives more light compared to other full moons. This is because the moon is relatively close to Earth. Because the most snow falls in the northern hemisphere during this period, the supermoon is also called Snow Moon.
- Photography tips: How to photograph the supermoon
You will photograph in a light situation that is very difficult for the camera to measure. And you want to capture the atmosphere, so it's important that you have influence on the lighting yourself. Your camera also finds it difficult to focus, so we set the camera completely to manual! (OEPS, that's a big step after my previous blogs)
Important here is that you use a tripod to prevent motion blur!
If possible, it is best to take a picture with the timer (often use for group photos wherever you want to go), or from a remote control! This will prevent you from moving your camera while printing.
