School Conuco
One of the virtues of our educational institution has been the love given by Prof. José Marín and his collaborators to our farm or school conuco, a few years ago the national government through the Ministry of Education, gave impetus to a policy of feeding through educational institutions called "Hands to the sowing", the creation of spaces in each institution for crops was dictated, promoting through the media, as a stimulus several meetings of significant samples were made between the different institutions, highlighting ours in the San Francisco Municipality of which it is a part, at the time in our conuco there were short and medium-term crops such as: banana, mole, banana, eggplant, ajie, chives, paprika, white bean. Which had been arranged for the internal consumption of the school cafeteria.
The push for such a policy diminished with the arrival of the coronavirus, passing this to a second plane, the sector where our institution is located was greatly affected by water shortages, this therefore affected the crops of our conuco. We hope the pandemic will pass soon and the water supply will be normalized to resume the practice in the conuco since what was harvested and produced was supplied as needed to feed our students and several families were also served, as well as the staff of the institution.

Conuco Escolar
