#sustainability A toilet has been created that converts stool into energy and money.

It would be quite interesting if your excrement turns into money and especially green energy, which can help move the economy.

That's what Korean scientist Cho jae- Weon who developed a w.c called Bee -vi that converts waste into methane gas, so the toilet first pumps waste into an underground tank which means it spends less water immediately compared to a traditional toilet.

Microorganisms then break down waste into methane or green energy a usable energy source.

According to the Korean scientist a human poop in a day could be transformed into about 50 or 60 liters of methane gas, that means it can generate half kilowatt hours of electricity, enough to drive a car about two kilometers.

But that's not all Cho Jae -Weon invented a virtual currency called Ggool (honey in Korean). Each stool that comes in gives you 10 Ggool, with which you can buy things on the campus of the university of science and technology UNIST.
