After the minilibrary with books and the little free pantry with food, there is now also the plant library. In these small cabinets on the street you can exchange or share seeds, cuttings and plants. There will soon be one at Minitopia in Den Bosch, this spring one was put in Arnhem, there are several in Rotterdam, you can find them in Hilversum and recently there is also one in The Hague on the Koningsplein.

New plant library
“Green in the city seems obvious with the parks we have, but is not always there in our own environment. With this initiative we want to contribute to this,” says one of the initiators Rachel van Duijn in the AD. The intention of a plant library is that neighbours can leave cuttings, seeds or plants and take them back to green the neighborhood. In The Hague, there is already an interest in such cabinets in other neighbourhoods.
