hello friends today I am going to show you two traditional Easter sweets in my home, the sweets are called angel hair with pineapple, made with citron pumpkin, I know it as sapaya and rice pudding with coconut.

To make the angel hair we first wash the citron squash well.

Put a towel on the floor.

We throw the pumpkin on top of the towel with force so that it opens. We will do this because it is a pumpkin with a very hard skin, and the easiest way to open it is to hit it.

Once opened, we cut it into not very big pieces. We introduce the pieces of pumpkin in a pot and cook it.

The same weight of the pulp is the one we have to put of sugar.

With the same amount of water as sugar we prepare a syrup. Put the water and sugar in a saucepan and when it starts to boil add the pumpkin pulp, together with the juice of half a lemon and a cinnamon stick.

one of the ingredients that gives it that tasty flavor is pineapple, its acid taste makes the syrupy sweet something unique.

Leave over medium-low heat for about an hour or even a little longer. We have to get all the strands of the pumpkin pulp are separated from each other and acquire a nice golden color.

Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.

Pour the angel hair into sterilized jars.

To sterilize glass jars and lids, place them inside a pot or saucepan, fill it with water and let the water boil for about 15 minutes.

EASTEREASTER

With approximately one kilo of pumpkin pulp we will get three or four jars, depending on the size of the jars.

Fill the jars with the angel hair candy and leave the jars upside down from one day to the next. If you have the jars sterilized, and you make the vacuum by turning them upside down, the angel hair will last for months.

You can also use the angel hair for any recipe directly when it cools down, without sterilizing the jars, if you are going to consume it immediately.

This is the result of a delicious sweet of angel hair very traditional in my home and best of all does not need much refrigeration and can last several days without the need to place it in a refrigerator.
