Swindled by fake plumbers

Where do you still find good craftsmen these days? Mouth to mouth commercial? It's starting to be scarce. Google is sometimes the answer.
Under the guise “seeks and you will find”, so a plumber called to find a leak. I got two men on the floor walking around here with some squeaky material. They were ready soon. The leak was found. I paid EUR 487.60 and I am still waiting for the report.
The website of these guys was nowhere online. Then I searched for the plumbing on the order. There was no address, a non-affiliated mobile phone number and a clue to Ecothermique in Anderlecht. According to the Bancontact, it's also up to that company that I paid for.
Then I found reviews and articles from leading companies such as TestAankoop, that this company has been known as scammers since 2012. The chances of getting my money back are very small, but the agreement has been made to file a complaint with the police.
These people, known as plumber Mertens, plumber Pieters, plumber Janssens and Ecothermique, create new websites every time. If their scam is known, they will get another URL.
They've been scamming people for high sums like this for years. They are active throughout Flanders and the Brussels region.

If you get a band on the line with a drop-down menu and then you are forwarded to men with a French accent, don't fall for it. Do not pay them in contact, especially via Bancontact. Demand they send the bill.
Tell it around. These people are known to competent authorities, but nothing is done about it.
