Ever heard of synchronicity?
You know, events that happen more or less simultaneously. You're thinking about something and later in the day someone tells you this verbatim. or, very often and very recognizable to many. You want to call someone and at that moment he calls you.
Think everyone has experienced that before, but what exactly does it mean? How should you read this? Is it just a coincidence. or is there more going on. Today, I experienced something, because still dropped a whole new light on this phenomenon.
One of my best friends had a birthday last week. Now he's not going through the most convenient period in his life right now, so I thought. let's surprise him with a card. Not just a 13-in-one dozen Happy-Birhtday card, but with a very personal message in a dense form. worthy of someone who likes to get in her pen.
Tight plan, if it were not that the friend in question has a very confused professor. and its mailbox rarely opens. Birthday passed and no response while we still hear each other almost daily. Two days later, still nothing and me grinding teeth of impatience. Really wanted to know what his response was to the text. By the weekend, it also dared me, that Mr still walked past his mailbox. Then just a little hint I thought, in the form of. how many times have you actually opened your mailbox since you lived there. This follows a hilarious conversation and the idea. yes tomorrow morning he opens it and FINALLY finds his card.
Well, so that was too much hoped. Sigh, what now. After 2 more days of waiting, I really liked it. In the end, I asked him if he was finally going to open that damn bus or if I had to email him the text with read confirmation. Hehe, the longest delivery of a card ever was also a fact with this.
His reaction was 'blown away and also a bit emotional'. That someone thought he was special enough to make that effort.
Now you should know that my life isn't that simple either and that literally hours before he found that letter, I also got a message from my best friend.
Been walking a little bit with the feeling of, well, actually, there is no one really awake from how I am doing. Was it on the full moon or there was another spiritual gate somewhere I didn't know about, but my emotions were also skyrocketing.
And then came her message. girl how are you, know I'm always there for you. That message loosened so much in me. All the tears that I was fighting convulsively came back then nothing rolled down my face. I can tell you now it took me a while to get back on my plain. But after a good cry, a deep breath and a good cup of coffee it suddenly dared me. this is a strong example of synchronicity.
Simultaneously with the hand I reached out to someone to tell him. hey, you matter and I care, I got the exact same message back from the universe in the form of a girlfriend who did this for me.
It really took a while before this event came to me, but once that happened, I was raided by such an immense sense of gratitude.
Thankful for the people around me who really care about me, but also grateful for the universe that, in the form of synchronicity, manages to give us the right message at exactly the right time.
Just like it wanted to say with a wink, you're on the right path and YES, you did great.
