Tax, we can't make it any more fun.
I only bought another car in Belgium. Last Friday we had to go to the RDW in Roosendaal to have it inspected. Online one-day registration and appointment made. Entering the car seemed an easy task.
Until tonight we had to make the BPM report to the IRS. My treasure turned on the PC and started to work. Half an hour later he started grumbling because filling in and printing the papers couldn't work. Eventually, I took over it and I'm working for an hour and a half. I will not repeat the words I used here. No BPM owed for the 1989 car. But I still have to fill in things that do not apply to an old car. What a dragon of a form. But I managed to do it.

Homologatie wordt door Portugal niet geaccepteerd, dus een A4 met technische gegevens aanvragen, a 100 €, gecertificeerde kopieën van ID bewijs, kenteken deel 1-2-3 en misschien vinden ze nog wel iets a 19 € per stuk.
Importkeuring ongeveer 50 €. Elke douane man/vrouw kan nog een document bedenken wat nodig is.
Inschrijven register en kentekenbewijs ongeveer 70 €. Nieuwe kentekenplaten pakweg 25 €.
Dan wordt een berekening gemaakt voor de wegenbelasting, motorinhoud x gewicht x Co2 en nog wat.
Als je de auto mee neemt met de verhuisboedel krijg je vrijstelling van de Portugese BPM, anders wordt het rekenen en schrikken vele zich een ongeluk.
Er van uit gaan dat je het Portugees goed beheerst anders de administratie uitbesteden wat ook weer het e.e.a. kost.
Inderdaad, leuker kunnen we het niet maken 😂😂😂
