The drummer of the American rock band Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, who died on Friday in the city of Bogotá Colombia, had marijuana and other drugs in his system before he died, according to Colombian researchers.

The cause of his death remains uncertain, and investigators have not said whether the drug mix was a factor in it.

Hawkins did not respond to resuscitation attempts and was pronounced dead, said the city's health ministry.

The Attorney General's Office of Colombia reported that it is investigating what happened and that it would give more details later.

Foo Fighters canceled the remaining dates of their concerts in South America.
