Previously, when people spoke about the Lord,
then I thought, “No, not again.”
It's good for you, but I'm not waiting for it.
All nonsense, those heavenly forces.
But how, could I have known then?
After all, I had worn out my whole life without God.
That went well, I was used to taking good care of myself.
And if it didn't work out today, I could do it tomorrow.
When people talked about Heaven, I always got a bit fierce.
Then I said, “If there is one, I'll get there too!”
I wasn't an evil person either, now I'm actually living just like I did then.
But no, not at all,
God changes your heart, your thoughts, and your actions.
It remains a mystery to me,
I really, really don't understand.
I am now completely sure that He sees me.
I remember it well,
after years of rejection, there was suddenly a desire.
If God exists then I want to receive Him too.
Yes, if all of that is true, then I want it too,
I'm not going to miss that opportunity.
I am so glad that I started looking at that time.
