Teletubbies Sunrise (own offspring)
A-oh! It seems centuries ago that the Teletubbies were on every day for a while. We had bought most of the episodes of the cheerful colored dolls on DVD. The popular television programme is suitable for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old and is educational outdoors, also very fun for the little ones. In Teletubbieland, rabbits hopped and you saw talking flowers, all cheerfully! It was mainly repeating and repeating (Again!), but that's good for development.
Do you remember them?
Tinky Winky was purple and always walked with a handbag, Dipsy was green and had a hat on, Laa-Laa walked around with a ball and was yellow, and Po was red and had a scooter. You also had a vacuum cleaner that sucked everything up and blew it out again (a bit crazy actually) and at the start of each episode the sun came up with a smiling baby head in it.
The narrator then said:The sun is smiling, the sun is blue, Teletubbies, come soon!

At one of the purchases of a Teletubbies DVD (via Marketplace) the seller offered to deliver a personal photo. She could photoshop or something back then, so I e-mailed her our baby picture. With the DVD we got this printed picture, completely free of charge. Super-sweet and very thoughtful we found. The photo is immediately put in a frame and has been hanging with us for years now in “the staircase hole”, with all other family photos.
