The araguaney
Venezuelan National Tree on May 29, 1948, it comes from the Chrisantha species, it is native to the trophilic jungles of the Venezuelan plains, although it extends throughout the country.
It has the capacity to grow in all areas and climates of Venezuela, thus safeguarding its proliferation and celebration such as Arbor Day in schools in the country, for which cultural events and ecological campaigns are held every 29 May , its leaves sprout between January and April.
