Tabebuia ChrysanthaAcapro, curari, araguan, glen, guayacán, yellow oak, cañahuate, zaptillo, zapito, tajibo, pyu and aravanei the latter employed by the Caribbean Indians who may have derived given its current name, this name by which this beautiful tree is known, was proclaimed in 1948 as a national tree, is a tree that does not exceed 12 meters high and 60 cm in diameter, it resists drought and nutrient shortages, which grows on almost any soil, remaining green for almost all year; with the first showers of the months of April and May she dresses in a golden-yellow suit which lasts a short time, then creating a splendid floral carpet.

Its beauty has inspired painters, composers and others who have highlighted its magical beauty.
Its colorful ephemeral adorns nature and brings a delight to the eye its magestuosity.
I want to share with you
a theme that honors him.
