The Beliefs
Beliefs is a personal statement that is considered true. It is described as a feeling of certainty about the meaning of something. Beliefs, which in many cases are subconscious, can affect one's perception of oneself, others and the things or situations that surround us. Hence, they can be formed from ideas that are considered true, through personal experiences. “When a belief is placed in people, in a solid and consistent way, the human mind eliminates or does not take into account experiences that are not compatible with them” (Bleger, 2000).
Likewise the beliefs that have been formed, occupy a space, an energy, materializing within the most entrenched concepts that the person has. They come from what has been heard, from what has been lived, is the way to believe to have and be. These beliefs are the result of other people's information such as educators, parents, friends and media or from strong experiences that have happened at a certain time produced at the time something has happened, which has resulted in an impregnation in the conscious or unconscious. In this vein, beliefs can be enhancers or limiting. Belief is enhancers because they help the person to have confidence in themselves and their abilities, allowing them to successfully cope with complex situations. When beliefs are limiting, they subtract energy and disqualify to face certain situations. To achieve full control of life, it is important to know what are the essential beliefs, change those that limit, so that you can resolve conflicts that exist between different beliefs.
