The best substitute for bread ever! (low carb)

Sometimes you are longing for a sandwich. And I can't blame you!  Because eating a sandwitch is so easy and tastes so good! If you have a low-carbohydrate lifestyle, a regular sandwich is a no-go. That is why I like to share this recipe for cloudbread with you! 

 The complete recipe contains only 4.9 grams of carbohydrates. And since you don't eat them all at once, they're perfect addition to your low-carb lifestyle!  Nice and low in carbohydrates. Let's do this!

What do you need?

  • 3 eggs 
  • 100 grams of cream cheese (eg Monchou) 
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 
  • a little bit of salt 

 Let's do this!

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees
Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

Take 2 bowls and split the eggs. The egg yolk in 1 bowl, the protein in the other.
Add a little salt to the egg white and beat it stiffly. You have to be able to keep the bowl upside down, without anything moving.
Add the cream cheese and the baking powder to the egg yolk and mix until its nice and fluffy.

Add the egg yolk mixture gently to the egg whites and stirr it. Be careful that it stays fluffy!

Now get ready, on the baking sheet, nice hoops with a spoon and put it in the oven for 25 minutes! The possibilities are endless!

 You now have 'bread', so you can fill it with whatever you like, but of course lowcarb products!

I like it when it's filled with ham and cheese and baked under the grill. The ideal lunch recipe!
