The gas rates will be significantly increased again by the suppliers as of 1 September. You can't find a cheap gas fare anywhere. You must have read the tips about insulation, heat pumps and solar panels, but this will cost you a lot of money. And not everyone just has the money to make it more sustainable.

Here are tips to reduce your gas consumption.  #savemoney  

1. Do you cook on gas? Put a kettle next to it to boil your water and only then put it in the pan. Electricity is cheaper than gas and it goes even faster.
2. Turn off your heating an hour earlier in the evening. 75% of your gas consumption goes to heating, there is a lot of profit to be gained. Don't forget to vent your heating so that it works optimally.
3. Only heat the rooms where you actually are. You don't have to heat the entire floor if you use 1 or 2 rooms.
4. Shower shorter and at a slightly lower temperature. You can use an hourglass for this or wake up your phone. Just the bit of insight helps you. Showering at the gym is also useful. 
5. Work as much as possible in the office/on location. You don't have to fire yourself.
6. Close doors and windows to keep the heat inside. “We're not firing for sparrows!'
7. Place reflective foil behind your radiator, this ensures that the heat goes back into your home. You can also insulate the heating pipes with foil to prevent heat loss.
8. Do you know the concept of washbasin? Showering every day is not always necessary, washing with a washcloth is also doable. There is a sink in your bathroom for a reason.
9. Put socks on. When your feet are warm, the rest of your body is often warmer.
10. Move! Go for a walk, bike or run or have fun on your household. Dance around the room and you'll need less heating.
11. Wear extra clothes. SNUGGLE UP UNDER A BLANKET ON THE COUCH AND WEAR A NICE WARM HOME SUIT.
12. Light the candles. Not only is this very cozy, atmospheric and cozy, but it also gives off warmth.
