Yes, the “Bird Dance”, also known as “The Chicken Dance” in English, is a joyful and popular dance song known around the world. The song is often played at parties, weddings, festivals, and other celebrations where people love to dance and have fun together.

The origin of the “Bird Dance” lies in Switzerland, where it was composed by Swiss musician Werner Thomas in the 1950s. The song was first released in 1963 under the title “Der Ententanz” (The Duck Tanz).

The song is linked to a simple dance performed by participants while imitating the movements of various animals such as chickens, ducks and birds. The dance is fun and interactive, often with participants standing in a circle mimicking the animals' movements as they move in the rhythm of the music.

While the “Bird Dance” may be simple, it has become a timeless favorite for its joyful melody and ability to bring people of all ages together for a fun and energetic dance experience.

Nou zot ie gelijk weer hele dag in mijn hoofd
