The Black Christ or Holy Relic of Gibraltar. It's a
Spanish size initially belonging to the town of
Gibraltar. Recorded history explains that indigenous people
Quiriquires assaulted the population due to the abuses committed against it by the ero Rodrigo de
Arguelles. On July 22, 1600, they looted and set fire
the port of Gibraltar.

Arriving at the church, they tried to set fire to the Christ, and
see that it didn't catch fire they started throwing arrows at it. Five arrows were stuck in the crucifix, it was singed, but it didn't burn.

Brought to Maracaibo, it is ordered by its original population,
but also requested by the Marabino people. Before the
dispute, the solitary image is placed on board a sailboat
in the middle of the lake, so that the holy image would decide
where to go. The Black Christ resolved the controversy by addressing Maracaibo.
