The booster that didn't go through

#blog In the Netherlands, I couldn't get the booster shot yet. There was less than 6 months between the previous. It changes again, because now suddenly it only has to be three months in between. It's just how it works out best. But no whining, I can also get the booster prick in Spain. It takes a little effort but I still have plenty of time.

First provide a SIP proof. With such proof, you are temporarily resident. I accidentally took the wrong entrance, it was actually the exit and I was second at the counter. Later I saw that there was a line outside that were allowed to go in one by one. Within ten minutes I had the proof and an appointment for the booster prick. It's December 22, 2021 and I get the shot 17 January. There is a considerable amount of time in between, but I don't mind that because I want to wait and see the developments with the omikron variant first.

Now it's 17 January and I've decided to go get a shot. Cycling to the Centro de Salut in L'Alfaz del Pi. As a real Dutchman, I am on time 13:34. Now through the real main entrance, but it was remarkably quiet. I show my papers to a nice nurse and she starts shaking her head no. Espera aqui, wait here. She disappears with the papers behind the scenes and comes back with another nice lady. Aqui ya no vacunamos teens qui ir a Benidorm. After some time I had because of what she said, we are no longer vaccinating here, you must be in Benidorm.

All the papers back into the office and after a while she comes back with a new appointment for me, but then in Benidorm. Thursday, I can. Coincidentally, I have to go to the orthopedist in Benidorm that day, so that works out well.

In the Netherlands I would probably have been raging but here I think, well and? I have all the time, it was very kindly communicated to me and on Thursday I have to be in Benidorm anyway. This is the relaxed Spain.

On the way back, I still pass a place where they are picking oranges, getting off and taking a picture. It was another fun outing.
