The brain in a bucket!
In 1981, the philosopher named Hilary Putnam raised the possibility — although he wasn't the first to write about this idea, it's the best known — that we were brains in buckets and nothing else.
As science has shown, everything we feel and experience is nothing more than a series of electrical impulses collected by our senses and interpreted by our brains.
Skipping the middle man, the idea is that a supercomputer could deceive a brain as long as it was properly connected and delivered the right electrical impulses. The brain, placed in a nutrient liquid inside a jar, would live in a virtual reality without knowing that everything it experiences is false.
A philosophical idea widely used in mental experiments on our ideas of knowledge, reality, truth, mind and meaning. And that should have inspired the Wachowski brothers for their Matrix trilogy.

Science is progressive but will one day unravel the total complexity of the brain.? I can hope not, because where is fantasy when the deepest layers are borrowed? What is the added value if there is nothing more puzzling at all?. I'm losing myself in my own brain 😁
