Without a doubt, the capitol is a beautiful work of art, which I had the privilege of knowing taking pictures from the outside to be captured for posterity. This was proclaimed HISTORIC HERITAGE OF VENEZUELA.


The Federal Legislative Palace or also called Capitol Federal, is currently the seat of the National Assembly, located in the city of Caracas Venezuela.

It is a Neoclassical structure built in the nineteenth century, to be more specific built in 1872 by the arrangement of President Antonio Guzmán Blanco, being the work by the engineer and architect Luciano Urdaneta Vargas.

It was inaugurated 43 years after the death of our Liberator Simon Bolivar on February 20, 1873.

In the city of Caracas we can find many historical places dating from the time of the Liberator of nations.

I hope you liked my little account of the history of the Capitol. That even has a metro station with its name.
