Linda Loaiza López Soto was 18 years old when she moved from Mérida, her home state, to Caracas to study veterinary medicine at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV). The young woman moved in with her older sister, Ana Secilia, who at that time was 19 years old

On March 27, 2001, just months after moving to the capital, Ana Secilia comes home and realizes that her sister is gone and when she tries to communicate with her, she receives no answer.

After a few hours, the young woman goes to the authorities to report that her sister Linda López was missing, because it was not common for her not to contact her for so many hours.

The police ignore Ana Secilia's complaint and tell her that they have to wait 48 hours before issuing an alert and also warn her that it was possible that her sister had left with “a boyfriend”. After several days without knowing about her sister Ana Secilia, she receives a call from Linda in which she tells her in strong words that she was fine, that she was with her boyfriend, asked her to stop saying that she was missing and to leave her alone. However, Ana was not convinced of what she heard, so she tried to call back the number that her sister contacted her.

The phone was turned off but when she fell to voicemail, she heard the name of the one she assumes, owns the phone. This belonged to Luis Carrera Almoina, a man who for Ana was totally unknown.

After learning the name, she goes back to the authorities and they tell her that “he sure was her sister's boyfriend” and that she most likely eloped with him. However, Ana did not stop with her complaints and went a total of 6 times to report the disappearance of her sister, without having any answer.

Luis Carrera Almoina was 36 years old, a cattle farmer by profession and son of the rector of the National Open University at the time.

On July 19, 2001, almost 4 months after Linda disappeared, in the El Rosal urbanization, passers-by heard cries for help from an apartment window and alerted the authorities. The firefighters forced the door and upon entering they found Linda Loaiza in a state of severe malnutrition, helpless and with multiple signs of violence.

Linda's health check revealed an aberrant amount of physical abuse. He had: head trauma, bruising to his face and body, a deviated eye, cigarette burns to his face and body, fractures to his nasal septum, bites to his breasts, disfigurement to the pinna of his ears and injuries to his pancreas.

In addition, his lower jaw was fractured in 3 parts, making it difficult for him to speak. She also had anal and vaginal tears, as well as a tear in her uterus and one of her ovaries.

You can follow me to the other parts and not miss any of this case.

I don't know if it's not allowed to show the images of how Linda looked after the act, it would be good to know since they are images that show her injuries.
