The Color Monster of Clay
Do you like to clay? When you've made something fun, you want it to stop breaking or collapsing when you pick it up or touch it. The clay used for these monsters can be baked in the household oven, just at 130 degrees, about 30 minutes. Then your figure is already hard and sturdy and you can just grab it, play with it and keep it.. for years!

With this Creall Therm Junior clay you can also make clay work, which you do NOT want to keep forever. Then you can put the clay back in the bucket. Because if you do not bake it off, the clay will simply remain malleable and will not dry out! So you can clay something different time and time again, if you want. We liked these color monsters, and want to use the dolls more often when reading the book. That's why we put them in the oven to get pretty hard!
Would you like to claw these figures? That's really not hard! Look at the step-by-step photos below. All you need is a bucket of Creall Therm Junior clay, a clay tool with round cup (or a teaspoon/ballpoint pen with round button), a satay stick and a black permanent marker. Oh.. and a household oven, of course!

With half a rod of clay you can make one sample. Remove from the half bar some for arms and legs and then roll it into a bodice. Form the ears and give the sample “hairs”.

Roll 2 small white balls and press the balls into place with the round shape tool. Roll a long thin (even) worm and divide it into quarters for the arms and legs.
