In addition to painting abstract art I write, write articles dedicated to art, interview artists of the past and also write short stories, all exclusively fictional and in this last case, I refer to short stories I like to invent characters and invent crazy stories but above all make people laugh and even reflect a little, I write to please others, I don't write for myself, if I wanted to write for myself I would take a diary, write my notes and then hide it in a drawer instead I write (online in various blog) in favor of the reader with the hope of making him interested in art and making him laugh, why laugh? Because I think that especially in this historical period people need to laugh a lot and I try
I would like to publish in print but I am a little old, the economic moment is not favorable and therefore, for me, it is not easy to publish a book with pages that can be browsed with the hands but I am an artist and so I thought of creating a real book written and handmade by me, the inner pages are impregnated with color and the text written by hand with a classic and very normal pen, this you see is a unique piece, they are not made in series, I have made about one ten and they are all different from each other, only the text is the same for everyone, but not so much because sometimes during the handwriting I change a few words, for some copies I also used the collage technique, I confess that the manual realization of this book is a bit laborious and tiring but also very funny, what you see is the cover, the book is called "Zombie on the road" is a short story, do you want to have some hints? I reassure you is not a scary story.
In this story there are four protagonists, they are a group of friends motorcyclists who every day at five in the evening gather in the motorcycle repair shop of one of them to chat and have a snack, at five in the evening they close themselves inside the workshop and they begin to have fun, in those moments the customers can also wait, the workshop is closed but one day, always at five in the evening (what does it remind you of "at five in the evening"?) in short, one day something strange happened, the workshop was attacked by zombies, the situation was dangerous and worrying, then the four friends decided to escape, initially they defended themselves from the attack and managed to get on their motorcycles to seek a safer refuge
And so they decided to go and take refuge in their friend Carmine's restaurant because he had a cellar under the place full of things to eat and drink and could be a good refuge in the hope that help would arrive soon, of course as in all films at cinema the zombies managed to find them, there was no escape the end was about to happen but ... I can't tell you the ending but I assure you that it ends well.Ok this is the short story of four biker friends attacked by zombies written by me and self published creating a hand-made book and what you see is the cover maybe it is not as beautiful and glossy as the real one of a real book but I can assure you that leafing through the pages and touching the color, the material, it is really a great please, can we consider it a work of art? maybe yes but that but what I most want besides making you get your hands on my art is to make you laugh, don't worry you don't have to be afraid of zombies, maybe they can be our friends for once.
