#darts Darts is a game played individually or in teams, where each player alternately throws three darts to a goal until completing a certain score or reaching certain sectors a number of times also determined depending on the variant of the game.

History
-Darts was first mentioned in history books in 1314. Between battles, bored soldiers were engaged in other tasks, including competing with each other by throwing splinters or other sharp material at the caps of the wine barrels. Later they used the part of a tree trunk that hung between a few branches. The same concentric circles on the wood served to define the different scores. For a long time it was considered a sport practiced by the army. It was highly appreciated because it maintained the gunshot of the soldiers and trained the launch of light weapons against the enemy.

The history of darts began in the 1960s, when the tourist boom began in the Spanish coastal areas. In many places with regular English customers, or even the owners were English, goals were placed for the entertainment of customers. In a short time, a number of small local leagues had already started, with the aim of getting customers to know other players, and the game level started to rise.

However, the greatest spread of this game came with the invention of electronic goals in the United States, in the 80s (they reached Spain only in the 90s), which greatly simplified the game, since the electronic target automatically carries the score, without paper and a pen as with traditional or “hair" targets.
