Guava bread is typical of the Andean region of Venezuela and there are versions only with guava or also with fresh cheese, goat cheese or cream cheese.

You will need: 600 g of flour 400 g of guava sandwich 200 ml of milk 100 ml of water 50 g of sugar 7 g dry baker's yeast 4 tablespoons of butter 1 teaspoon of salt.

Follow these steps:

1. In a small pot, warm the milk to about 40°C (104°F), add the yeast, sugar, stir until dissolved and stand for about 10 minutes.

2. In a large bowl add the sifted flour, salt, open a crown in the center and add the butter at room temperature, the yeast mixture and hydrate the dough with the water little by little until you get a smooth mixture that does not stick in your hands, form a ball and rest covered with a clean cloth for about 2 hours or until it doubles its loudness.
