Follow-up story Kalle en Pietje, part 31
After lunch, some participants go for a walk. Kalle and Pietje stay in the farm to rest. Then Annie comes up with a surprising proposal. If it's all right with you, she says I'll stay here. Pietje, I'd like to wash and brush your hair. After all, that seems too difficult to me with that plaster around your elbow.
Pietje responds enthusiastically and so the three of them go outside. A teint of lukewarm water and a brush will work wonders, says Kalle smiling.
Annie is just kidding. Pietje is regularly pulled to the hairs during washing and her ears are washed tightly. Although Annie behaves a bit like a hunter, here a huge portion of love expresses. That love flows again like a warm glow through Pietje.
