The food monster
A new interactive reading experience for children aged 4+.
The food monster loves nothing more than to enjoy eating. He especially likes fries and tomcats. When he signs up for an eating competition, he thinks he's getting lots of candy. Instead, he gets lettuce, tomatoes and a healthy apple. He disagrees with that. Luckily, there is a huge pizza waiting for him.
Fiona Hack asked herself how she could keep children reading. How do I make reading extra fun?
Her conclusion is to give reading an interactive touch. The poem 'The Food Monster' is suitable for seeing the light of day not only as a picture book, but also as a coloring book. The prints, drawn by Dinie de Zeeuw, invite you to color. For example, the child himself reads or is read aloud and colors the accompanying coloring page for each stanza.
