The golden lego!
The online auction portal Catawiki has closed the bid that has already been registered as the piece of LAYMAN most expensive in history thanks to the fact that the sale reached the 18,498 euros . This is a brick of LAYMAN the same size and shape as the original 2x4, but made of solid 14 carat gold.
This piece is considered to be the holy grail of this assembly set because it is estimated that there are only 10 like this left around the world. The Danish company manufactured between 1979 and 1981 a limited series of gold blocks that he gave away to employees who had been working for more than 25 years at the Hohenwestedt (Germany) and a select group of partners.
