The birthplace of Liberator Simon Bolivar, located in Caracas, is the obligatory starting point to begin the tour of the main historical sites of Venezuela, corresponding to the birthplace of this famous hero in 1783, who helped to inspire and decisively achieve independence in several of the countries of the continent.

Nowadays, the house is set up as a museum, with various paintings on display that portray the life of Simon Bolivar, along with priceless pieces of the original house, personal objects and clothing. On July 25, 2002, the house was declared a National Monument.
