The Humboldt

#venezuela The Humboldt Hotel is a time capsule that takes us straight back to the fifties of the last century.

The hotel is located at the top of Waraira Repano National Park (El Avila). It was inaugurated on December 29, 1956 and reopened on May 4, 2018.

This hotel complex with its large social spaces, is perhaps the best-known work of the Venezuelan architect Tomás Sanabria, managed to build and put into operation the hotel in just 199 days, just one day before the deadline for its completion.

The result is a cylindrical glass and aluminum tower with 70 rooms and a bar with a 360-degree panoramic view, surrounded most of the day by masses of clouds that suddenly open to show a beautiful view.

It is a five-star hotel, to get to the hotel you need a nice cable car ride, it has a beautiful view both day and night as the hotel is located at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level.

It is a space for rest and fun where history and technology come together to deliver a high altitude experience.

It's a place among the clouds.
