The Kiersche Wijdepad.
Walk in nature reserve de wieden.
In mid-June, I experienced an open day at the Blue House in Ruinerwold with my daughter. And because that is quite a long drive for us and the day is far from over, I looked up a walk in the Wieden near Wanneperveen on the Komoot app.

You can take various walks from a parking lot on the Lozedijk.
If you enter Lozedijk 10 on google maps, you will automatically reach the Kiersche Wijde.

Unfortunately, my daughter does not want the 24 km walk and I go on the road myself quickly.
Well, forget that quickly, because of course I come across so much along the way. And if I walked completely well, I don't know either, because that 24 km felt more like 41.

But take a look at this beautiful glimpse. That's enjoyment, right!

Of course, I pay extra attention to whether I see a dragonfly sitting. And yes, in the long grass I find an early glazier.
And this four-spot has also found a sturdy stem.

I would have liked to put these spotted shiny dragonflies on them a little better, but after a first photo they had flown.
The walk is nice and varied and goes through a piece of forest.
I think these are the caterpillars of a speck moth.

On a nettle leaf is a tenthredo livida, a sawfly of which I unfortunately can't find a Dutch name. I find the light ends of the antennas particularly striking.
A dragonfly sits quite high on a bare branch. Beautiful as the sun shines through the wings. The obsidentify app thinks 70% it's a graceful white-beaked dragonfly. And indeed, if you look closely at the head, you can see that the muzzle is light colored. So I guess at least it's some kind of white-beaked dragonfly.

A little further I come across this beautiful specimen, which I am sure is a spotted white-beaked dragonfly. Unfortunately, I can't take a picture of the side of it to make the white snout visible.

On a sorrel leaf I find a caterpillar of a sorrel owl, a moth that is well camouflaged on a tree.
Oh dear there is so much to see here, actually I wouldn't stay away too long. Soon on again!

I follow the blue arrow.
You have to pay close attention, you missed one like that.
Your photos are also all very nice.
