The laser pointer in all directions
I noticed that the 300mW laser pointer already contained batteries and additional batteries were added! had to realign the green laser button, because one side didn't work when I put both sides together. Once I had both buttons worked and the housing was secure, I inserted the three screws into it and I'm fixing them. I'm sure it staff will be willing to help you if you don't know how. So far it was great. It took me almost an hour to install it, but that's the downside of having big hands. It's held zero since & I love it. I bought this for my son's gun and was a bit skeptical based on the price. It came nicely packed, no clues, but seemed pretty simple. We took it that morning and could not be happier with the decision to buy this item.
This laser pointer is fine for the price. The interface as two rubber strips that are glued. One of them came out after a few times. I glued it again and cursed it. It seems to work well. The rubber feet seem to be something that they picked up in the craft shop and stuck to the ends of the legs. They don't fit well. The
500mWlaser pointer comes with a “hose piece” between the jaws and the only way to remove it. is by loosening the adjuster at the bottom so that the jaws can move forward to untie the hose. If you have the adapter, just pull the jaws between the holes and tighten. If not, use the adapter and then attach the rail. Generally, the laser module works fine. There are specific elevations for the position of the feet, so if you are on an uneven surface, you may not be level. It is certainly better than nothing at all. See pictures for what I mean. Although nothing has happened to mine, will I over time see what happens. I plan to make a?? stack wardrobe cabinet to make sure everything stays where I have it. The rail adapter is robust and the finish is generally reasonable for everything.
For the cost however, I'm glad I put it on one of my cheap firearms. If anyone has any questions whether needs more pictures, ask! I needed a Picatinny rail for the handguard I had on my rifle to accept the adapter that came with the laser.
