A few days ago, I ran into this special bug on the window. After some research it turned out to be theLeaf-legged bug, an exotic native to North America.

The firstLeaf-legged bugin Europe was seen in Italy in 1999. Switzerland was in 2002. France followed in 2005, Germany in 2006. In the Netherlands, Belgium and England the first observations were in 2007. The species is now common throughout the Netherlands.
