Dorothy Eady, the later Omm Seti, is only three years old when something remarkable happens to her.

One was a heavy fall from a staircase. The other: a mysterious change after the fall in her character.

It was a lively child. But that's what they actually are at this age.

So Mom had a gate built in front of the stairs. But a visitor had forgotten to close it.
