The Loveless Youth of Jolanda

Jolanda was already desperate for love as a child. Her parents were already divorced when she was born; her mother could not cope with the divorce and took it out against Jolanda. She had read somewhere that it was good to chastise your child. And so she was happy to do that!

A few times a week, her mother tied Jolanda's feet when she was home from school, and tucked her in the meter cabinet. Crouching on her knees, little Jolanda spent hours there in despair and frustration. And, of course, that never makes you happy as a child. Her self-confidence and self-esteem deteriorated visibly and her cry for attention and love determined her young life.

This attitude did not bring her bullying classmates - for that is human nature - to fend. Jolanda was the outcast of the class and was beaten and kicked with great regularity. No, experiencing love was absolutely not for her. Even though her classmates always said literally that they were kicking and beating love in her.
