Juan Vicente Torrealba was a school, recognized worldwide as a worthy precursor of our llanera folk music.

Born in our capital Caracas in 1917, he went through the golden age of llanera music, leaving to his credit more than 300 songs of his authorship and many recognitions that were made to him during his lifetime, he had the honor of being considered one of the 100 personalities of the twentieth century in Latin America, as well as cultural heritage of universal music.

He will always be remembered for his immortal theme: Concert on the Plain, I accompany the great artistic personalities in his time.
