Kodaly Method
1. Origins
Although the method was not exactly invented by Zoltan Kodaly, it was undoubtedly developed under his leadership in the 40s and 50s of the last century. Zoltan Kodaly was born in Hungary and learned to play the violin, piano and cello without formal education. He continued to write music and became close friends with Bartók. He received his Ph.D. and received critical praise for his works - especially music intended for children. Throughout his career, Kodaly has composed a lot of music, gave concerts with young musicians, written many articles and lectures. He died in 1967.
