David Attenborough urges the public to dump meat and encourages vegetable diet in new film. The 94-year-old broadcaster said, “We need to change our diet. The planet cannot support billions of carnivores”

Opening only one night in British cinemas on 28 September, the film looks at the environmental changes that have taken place on Earth during the life of #SirDavid and offers some solutions to the climate crisis.

'We need to change our diet'
According to the Mirror, the historian said, “We need to change our diet. The planet can't support billions of carnivores. “If we were to eat mainly vegetable, we could increase the yield of the land. We urgently need free land... Nature is our greatest ally.” Sir David also warned that the 'natural world' is fading and predicts that the loss of biodiversity, which he describes as the true tragedy of our time, is 'still unfolding. ' “The living world is a unique and spectacular miracle, but the way we humans live on earth makes it fall into disrepair. People have conquered the world. We replace the game with the tame. This film is my testimony and my vision of the future.

“Our planet is on its way to disaster. We need to learn how to work with nature rather than against it, and I'm going to tell you how.”
