You can then make sure that you are at home to receive the package. That seems convenient and would also be the case if you can count on the day and time. Unfortunately, the time often turns out to have changed the next day and sometimes the day too, so you have taken off for nothing or cancelled an appointment. It may also happen that you see the delivery guy driving by and a few minutes later the day and/or time in the app has changed.
Also, you should carefully check whether the package is actually done by post.nl or that the package is only registered and is not yet in their possession and therefore no delivery time can be announced! Have a good look, click through to make sure you're not being patched.
You can also see your mailbox mail in this way, although this is often not true. Sometimes there are pictures of your post, sometimes there is no photo available. Still it often turns out that there is a picture, but the mail does not arrive at you. You can not communicate about this with post.nl , you can only rate the app. However, you can call the customer service, but they only refer you to the sender and refuse to go into details.
In short, as far as I'm concerned, that app shouldn't have been there. It will only confuse you and bring unnecessary stress. When you have ordered something, the sender can also simply indicate that your parcel at post.nl has been delivered and it will be delivered the next day.
