The Rainbow neighbourhood centre
Building had taken a year, making all plans even ten. But today it was finally time, the new district centre 'The Rainbow' was to be opened festively by the alderman of duty. Garlands and balloons gave the building an extra cheerful touch. Of course, local associations were invited to contribute to this festive event and 'De Hoge Noot' was also present. Among the members of this choir are, as we know, Uncle Frits and Aunt Coby.
At ten o'clock in the morning the members gathered in one of the rooms for the preparatory voice and singing exercises. That's when the phone call came. The conductor turned out sick and could not come. Now what?

Ik weet het niet hoor. Als bij ons koor de dirigent afwezig is zingen we wel zonder. Dat is vaak veiliger dan iemand die ons in de war kan maken. Ben heel benieuwd!
Met zoveel zelfvertrouwen moet het toch wel goed komen?
