The Reality of Education in Venezuela

#blackandwhite I haven't written about Venezuela for a long time, arriving in a different country with a different culture has taken a lot of my time, but I'm constantly watching the news of what's happening in my country As a teacher I can't help but ignore, what I consider the greatest brazenness, the greatest mockery that a government can make to the teaching profession, to teachers.
As you all know, I wrote about it here, education in Venezuela, especially public education, is quite mediocre, schools destroyed, without desks, without water, students, as I have explained in other publications, to solve their tasks, without books, must even fish for the Internet of a neighbor, or of course, climb to the roof of the house to receive the signal, but the teacher must go to school, by public transport, which does not exist, or because there is no gas, but beyond that, the teacher's salary is not enough for pain, I have seen with my Own eyes, colleagues go to teach classes with broken shoes.
Teachers are on the street fighting for better conditions and better salaries, protesting every day in different regions of the country, and what is the government's response. What happened to the president?, it's just that they're not going to believe me!!! .... On the national television channel, he proposed to teachers that they work only two days a week, because there is no money to raise their salaries, so they can work for the remaining three days, work as much as they can and thus get money. This is a joke?, what will happen to the students?, what parents will do?, is it that perhaps education can fall deeper into the background and be worse than it is. Well they say that dictatorial governments want brute people, why worry about improving education?

Maria, what about an educational situation in Venezuela?. While this is just as important for the children themselves. But also for the country itself. What strange people who are in power there.
I hope for everyone there that there will be a change in the positive direction. Someone who comes to power who cares about the fate of the people.
