Sibucara is a corpulent Venezuelan tree with a cylindrical stem, from its bark fiber is extracted for cordage and by incision we obtain a binder reddish gum that is mixed with paint.
Flowers appear solitary or on peaks of 2 to 5 flowers; they reach 10 cm, and open at night., 7 to 9 cm in length and pink or cream color; the stamens are very numerous, forming white balls with the appearance of pompoms.
Sibucara is a geographical voice, “La Sibucara” is a sector of the metropolitan area of Maracaibo.

If they are large trees and their foliage is very nice, that's how it looks like a very old and dry tree, I didn't know what is used for what they extract from it
