The sirtfood diet was conceived by pharmaceutical and nutritionist Aidan Goggins and his colleague Glen Matten. According to these two, you lose weight on average up to three kilograms per week. Nice prospects, right? Sirt comes from sirtuins, a group of proteins that activate your metabolism extra. As a result, you burn more stored fat and you will retain your muscle tissue. The sirtfood diet is actually not a diet, but a way of eating. Sirtfoods are primarily cocoa, green tea, walnuts, coffee, turmeric and red onions.
The operation of the sirtfood diet
The diet consists of two stages. As is often the case, the first week of your diet is the most difficult. You then eat two low-calorie meals a day and drink three sirtfood-rich green juices. With this daily menu you can receive up to 1000 kcal per day. Between the third and seventh day of your diet, drink a green sirtfood juice twice a day combined with two main meals. That can be either classical or vegan. You also eat up to 20 grams of dark chocolate with at least 85 percent raw cocoa. From 19 o'clock it is done with food.
